Three Tiles

Three Tiles

I can't believe how long it's been since I posted a blog. Time has a way of getting away from me this time of year. I had an opportunity on Friday to take a class using alcohol inks. We put the inks on glossy white porcelain tiles, played around with the colors, the medium and alcohol until we had a tile that we liked. Then we allowed them to dry and coated them with epoxy. It was lots of fun to just play and discover what could be done with the inks. On Monday we will continue the class and perhaps do some larger tiles. I'm not sure what I will do with them but they are fun to look at; they can be displayed on a stand or a ring can be fastened to the back so they can be hung on the wall.
